While in Vernal a few weeks ago my sister took our kids out into our parent's field and searched for monarch caterpillars amongst the milkweeds. They found several, three of which made it back to our home. We had a great time watching
them make their transformation into beautiful monarch butterflies. All
three broke free from their protective coverings within 24 hours of each
other, which allowed us to release them all at the same time.
