I have to say I really enjoy this time of year. I love the smell, taste, and sight of Fall. I love the changing colors and the slight temperature change(not freezing, light jacket weather). It is also a great time of year for a little reflection, with the Relief Society Broadcast and General Conference.
I have been thinking a lot lately, when Brandi moved I had a very hard time adjusting without her. I know that sounds crazy, but for the last couple of months she was here we were both without our husbands, and we seriously did something almost everyday together. Anyway it was really hard and I was very sad all time, my poor husband did not know what to do with me. I got to thinking and realized that life must go on. I realized I needed to be more grateful for the things around me, mostly my family. My family is very important and I must live for them, I can't just sit around and be sad all the time.
Anyway, I did not mean for this post to be sad, because I love this time of year.
I really enjoyed the Relief Society Broadcast and Conference. I learned that I do have talents even if I don't think I do. President Uchtdorf gave a wonderful talk during the RSB and I realized that the little things in life are sometimes the most important.
In between conference sessions on Saturday I watched a little show on the BYU channel, I don't remember what it was called, but it had a couple of families on that had children with disabilities. It truly inspired me these parent impressed me so much. I complain about my children on many occasions, but I have no reason to do so. I have 3 beautiful, healthy, and wonderful little boys. They are truly a blessings in my life and Heavenly Father has given them to me to take care of and love. I am grateful for them and after watching that show I know how important it is to love your children no matter what.
I am very grateful for all of my wonderful blessing my Heavenly Father had given me. I love this time of year and for the time of reflection.
