New Beds

When we found out we were pregnant with Adyson we decided that we were not going to move everyone around since we would probably be moving when Nick was finished with school, but that all changed when we got a set of bunk beds for free. A family in our ward was giving away their bunk beds and we decided it was the perfect time for Adyson to get out of the pack n play and go into the bigger crib. All we had to buy was a twin mattress for Brodie (which he was getting too big for the toddler bed) some hardware and bedding which I found at Target for $25 a set (sheets and blanket). We were so excited but I think the kids were even more excited.

Austin and Brodie on their new bunk beds. Brodie was super excited to be sharing a room with Austin again. It is so cute to listen to their little conversations they have when they go to bed. We also got two sets of dressers from the family and now Austin has a place to put his clothes instead of little plastic drawers in his closet.
Corbin in the toddler bed. He is doing so great. We have found him sleeping by the door a couple of times, but I think he is really enjoying being out of the crib.
Adyson in her big crib. She is sleeping so much better, our pack n play had a little bump in the middle (you have to remember it has been through 3 kids before her) so instead of sleeping the long way she was sleeping the other way and she was getting to big.

It was so fun to move everyone around. I love moving furniture, making changes, and reorganizing our apartment. We are very grateful for FREE stuff!!!

Lucky Little Girl

Adyson is one lucky little girl to have three big brothers that love her so much. Corbin has always paid attention to her, but never wanted to hold her for more than a second at a time. The other day he held her for about 15 minutes and was very proud of himself. Check out that cute smile on his face! Adyson on the other hand looks a little nervous.

I love these pictures of Brodie reading to her. This was on Valentines morning reading Austin's new dinosaur book.

Whenever she is sad, Austin always makes sure she has everything she could possibly need. Her blankets, pillow, toys, and pacifier. What a great big brother! She loves all the attention they give, she is one loved little girl!

Valentine Bags

Check out these cute Valentine bags I made the kids for the back of their chairs. I made Adyson's with a little help from a friend and then made the boys all by myself in one day. I was super excited. The boy ones are all the same and I will eventually add their names to them.

For Valentines I filled the boy's bags with a book, candy, and glow sticks. Adyson got a new toy for her car seat and some bigger pacifiers. I got a new sewing machine from Nick for Valentines (I was using my friends to make the bags) and I am super excited to make lots more fun things.

Kids Valentine Party

We do a babysitting group with some of our friends. We have been doing it for several years now with the Hoffmans and just added our friends the Abes. It is the best thing ever, we watch all the kids once a month and then get two dates a month. It was our turn last Saturday to watch the kids so I decided to do a little Valentine party for them. We made little heart shape pizzas which they got to put their own toppings on, they did a little dancing, watched a little bit of the Olympics, decorated Valentine cookies, and then got to blow bubbles.

We made the pizzas in shifts, Andrew and Halie were so great to help out with Adyson.

Nick would have the kids try to catch a bubble and then come show him so he could take a picture of it, I think it turned out way cool!!

Big Box!!!

When we got home the night of monster trucks there was a big box waiting for us by our door. The boys were so tired when we got home(they all fell asleep in the car), but as soon as they saw the box they woke right up and were very excited to see what was inside. My Aunt Beth and her family have been working the monster truck circuit where they live, so she decided to get the boys a couple of things and send it our way.

She decorated the box so cute, with their names. They boys thought it was so awesome that it had their names all over it.
She sent them checkered flags, monster truck hats, and cotton candy from monster jam. She also sent tons of costumes. Lets just say I will not have to buy another Halloween costume for a very long time. The boys were so excited and they want to wear the costumes all the time now, it is very cute!
Of course she did not forget our sweet little Adyson. My aunt loves koala bears so she sent Adyson her first. She sent her some fairy wings and a tutu to start her dress up collection. She also sent her a couple of very cute signs to hang in her room. (check out that CUTE baby)

Monster Jam 2010

My boys have a fun yearly tradition of going to Monster Jam. They went last Friday ( I know I am a little behind). They go with Brett Seamons and a couple of his kids. I think Shay and I went the first year, but ever since then there have been little kids or babies to small to go and hear the loud trucks. We started the night by eating at McDonald's and letting the kids play. Then it was time to separate the dads and older kids went to the Fargo Dome to see some big trucks, while the moms and younger kids went to the Seamons for a little quilting..

Well, Adyson did not cooperate at first, but after her minute nap in my arms I finally got to start sewing. The only thing we had to worry about was little Glory trying to pick Adyson up, she loves Adyson and would cry every time Shay would take her away. Yet, I still finished the top of my scripture power quilt. This is a HUGE accomplishment for me considering a couple of years ago I was terrified of the sewing machine. (I will do another post so you can see it and some of my other recent sewing projects).

Baby Doll

Adyson has really been enjoying toys lately. The other day one of the boys gave her this baby doll to play with. I love this picture of her sucking on its hand(I guess it is better than her own fingers). I didn't realize little girls like baby dolls so young!!!
