Pajama Party
Austin's class earned a pajama party for being good students. He was so excited to go to school that day. They got to watch a movie and eat popcorn. When Nick dropped him off for school that day he asked Austin if he could go with him to school because it sounded more fun than his school and he quickly replied "No way it's only for kids."

New Banks
While we were in Utah we got the kids these little banks from Desert Book they have a space for tithing, mission fund (savings for girls), and spending money. I had one when I was little so when I saw them I thought they would be great for the kids. When we got home we had a FHE (family home evening) about money. Brodie loves money so we talked about how we have to earn money and some different things that they can do to earn money for their banks. I think it worked because Brodie does not ask for money all the time anymore. We talked about tithing and how we pay 10% of what we earn to the church. We also talked about the different things our tithing is used for. It was a great night!Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam
My little Brodie-man is getting so big and I can't believe it. He had his first Sunday in Primary last week at church. He missed his first two Sundays because we will still gone the first and were sick the second. Brodie was so excited to be a Sunbeam (class for 3 year olds) and be in Primary with Austin. Even though he was excited he was a little nervous. I was subbing for another class so he just wanted to sit by me during singing and sharing time. Then it was time to go to class and he became a little sad, but still went with help from one of my friends. After class he came out with a big smile on his face and said he had fun. I can't believe my little Brodie is a Sunbeam.
He looks so handsome in his little tie!

4 Months
Adyson turned 4 months on the 10th and I can't believe that I have not gotten around to blogging about it. She is just such a joy to have around. She smiles all the time and loves her brothers so much! She watches every move they make. She can roll from her belly to her back and is working on going the other way. She had her check up on the 12th and weighed 12 pounds 14 ounces (30%) and was 23 1/2 inches (22%). She is a little peanut, but a very cute one!

Seeing Double?
We spent New Years Day with Angie and her family shopping at the Gateway and checking out the Planetarium. Later that night we went to see my good friend Jenny and I was even able to see most of her family. It was great to see so many Arkansans!
On our last day in Salt Lake our nephew Jackson was baptised. We were so glad that we got to stay long enough to see that. After the baptism we went and hung out at Nate and Michelle's house. We played trivial pursuit and I am pretty sure Nick and I lost bad, but it was still a lot of fun.
New Years Eve
We spent our New Years Eve with Nick's brothers Nate and Brandon, his sister Angie and their families. We decided to play a little white elephant gift exchange. It was fun, but the poor little kids did not understand fully.

Adyson's Blessing
Nick blessed Adyson on December 27, 2009 in Vernal, UT. He did a wonderful job, We are very lucky to have a husband and father in our life that holds and honors the priesthood.
I wanted a very simple dress for Adyson to wear, and I think we found the perfect one. She looked so pretty in it.

Our family with Grandma and Grandpa Schwerin and Great Grandma Betty.
Adyson with Grandma and Grandpa Weber.
I wanted to get a picture of all the men that stood in the circle to bless her and I forgot. Nick, Grandpa Schwerin, Grandpa Weber, Uncle Randy, Uncle Nathan, Uncle Marcus and Uncle Brandon all stood in the circle. It was so great to have everyone there. Thanks to all that traveled to share this special day with our family.

Christmas 2009 in Vernal, UT
We had a great time being out in Vernal for Christmas this year. Nick's brother Wes and his family, his sister Angie and her family and his parents were all together on Christmas morning.
The boys waiting patiently for all of the other families to wake up. We decided the night before that who's kids woke up first, their parents would wake up the others and of course it was our kids!
We also decided to read the Christmas story to the kids before opening presents, so that we could all remember the real meaning of Christmas. The kids did a great job listening then it was time to open presents.
Later that afternoon we went over to the hotel where my parents and grandma were staying (I forgot to take any pictures). My grandma was so sweet and gave the kids some games that they love.

We went to Temple Square to see the Joseph Smith movie in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, it was wonderful, it of course made me cry. My parents and grandma were able to be there with us too.
