Our Attempt at Easter Pictures

Easter morning we thought it would be fun to take some family pictures before church... fun was the wrong word to use. I (Nick) have been frustrated before but I nearly got pushed over the top by one of our little men. We had two sons who were more than willing to work with us and one who would have nothing to do with our little project. It seemed the more we tried to coax him the worse he would get. You all might be surprised to learn that the troublemaker was our little Brodie. Well, I went to church somewhat unnerved and we tried again after church and this was the end result.

Easter Hunt

Despite all of the new snow and the light snow that was falling our friends still held their Easter Egg Hunt. They have a really fun way of doing things. They make a list of things that are hidden and then you have to find all of the items on your list. The kids have a really great time finding all of the things on their list and then playing with all of the things that they found. This is the third year that we have joined in on the fun. The first year that we went we were in shorts and Ts but the past few it has looked a lot like it did today. A little snow can't keep us from having fun.

How do you open this?

We got a box from Grandpa Doug tonight and we were not opening it fast enough for Austin, so he went and got his drill and hard hat to open the box. He makes us laugh everyday. Thanks Grandpa Doug and Lydia for all the fun stuff.

More SNOW!!!

All this week we have had weather that has been in the high 30s and low 40s, all of the snow was gone but a few piles in a some parking lots. When we woke up this morning we saw this!! It looks as though we will have snow for Easter after all. Why do we live here again?

Boo Boos

Austin comes out of our room yesterday with Ashlee's bra and says "Look Daddy I have Boo Boos." What a funny kid.

Corbin's First Days at Home

Our first few days home with the new baby have been very fun and also very tiring. Austin and Brodie both love to hold Corbin. If we got a nickle for every time Brodie said "baby" Nick could quit work and stay home with us. Grandma and Grandpa Schwerin both came to stay for a few days to help out around the house, they have been a great help. It will take some time to adjust to the new addition but no matter how hard things get it is funny how easily things are forgotten. We love our boys.

HE IS HERE!!!

This is Ashlee's Doctor.

Corbin Bradley joined our family today at 3:11 PM. He weighed 8lbs 9oz and was 21 1/4" long. He and Mommy are both doing great.

Dino Fun

This week is my spring break but it sure doesn't feel like spring to us seeing how it is only 10 degrees out right now. So we are trying to find things to do while I am home more this week. One of the very few things to do here with the kids indoors is the dino-play-land that they have in the mall. So we took the boys there this morning to get some of their wiggles out. I didn't get any pictures of the dinos because the batteries died in my camera after just a few shots so this is all I got. Everything in the play area is padded and soft so the boys really enjoy running and jumping around on everything.
