Santa's Village
We have started a wonderful tradition here in Fargo of taking the kids to Santa's Village. It is a lot of fun, they get to see Santa, decorate cookies with Mrs. Claus, make a Christmas ornament, see a cool train, write a letter to Santa, and see some of his reindeer. They do a food drive for the local food pantry and a toy drive so the admission is to bring something for that. We love things that are cheap like that. We went this year on the opening day and surprisingly it was not too crowded. It was a lot of fun and defiantly a tradition we will miss when we move.
The only way we could get a picture with Corbin was for me to be in the picture too. (your never too old to have your picture taken with Santa, right?)
Thanksgiving 2009
(pictures to come soon, I took my camera and forgot to use it, so just waiting on an email)
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. Nick started the day by playing basketball with a few friends. I actually got to sleep in a little bit, all of the kids slept until around 9, it was great. When Nick got home we had a big breakfast of sausage, eggs, and fruit. We watched the parade and made an apple pie (I made 3 pies the night before) and homemade macaroni and cheese. It was very relaxing and enjoyable morning.
We then went over to our friends the Hoffman's along with the Tuckers and Roberts for a big feast. We had a yummy lunch/dinner of turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls, cranberries, sweet potato casserole, corn, and mac n cheese. Very yummy!!
After we ate the men took most of the kids to play some football outside, while the women sat around and gabbed. Then we decided to try and play the totally insane card game, that Nick has had forever and we have never really played it. It was fun, but defiantly insane because we were trying to learn all the rules. After playing for a little bit, it was time for pie. I made most of the pies this year, we had 2 pumpkin, banana cream, apple, and thanks to Bonny a pecan. Nick's family always has a pie party for Thanksgiving, so that it the reason Nick wanted to make so many pies, but it was fun and they turned out pretty good.
I am very grateful for my wonderful husband and my beautiful kids. I am grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and for the gospel in my life. I am grateful for all of my family and friends and yes I am grateful for YOU!!! We had a great Thanksgiving this year and I hope you did too.

Corbin

I have not blogged about just Corbin in a really long time! He is just so stinkin cute. He really likes to climb on everything, he drags chairs all over the apartment to reach things that he is not supposed to have. He loves the phone the most. (Sorry if you get a call from us and no one talks to you, it is probably Corbin). As you can tell by the picture he also likes to make a really big mess when he eats, but what kid at his age doesn't? He doesn't say many words yet, but he does yell "STOP" anytime someone starts to sing, it is pretty funny.
We love our little Corbin, even when he throws his little tantrums.

(These picture were taken about two months ago, but he looks so much older to me now. It is crazy how fast they grow).

LOST...
I finally have my computer back after it being worked on for a week!! I can't believe how much I missed it and how lost I felt without it. I have a lot of things I want to blog about, maybe I will get to it one day.
I would like to mentioned our little baby girl turned two months on Tuesday. She had her appointment today and weighed 11 pounds 2 ounces and is 22 inches long. She is still a wonderful baby and we love having her around.

One Month
Our little girl is one month old today and I can't believe it. This month has gone by very quickly, but I guess that is what happens when you have four kids 5 and under. She is a very good baby, she already sleeps for six to seven hours at night, sometimes she will even go back to sleep after she eats. The boys adore her, but I think Corbin pays the most attention to her, when he gets up in the morning the first thing he does is check on her and through out the day he gives her lots of kisses. He also makes sure she always has a blanket, it is very cute. She has been a great surprise, we love having her in our home.Thursday, October 8, 2009
Fun Weekend
Grandma and Grandpa Weber came for a little visit last weekend. We had a great time with them here. We watched conference, ate to much, and played lots of games. It was very relaxing and enjoyable.
They taught us a really fun game, golf with skip bo cards. We stayed up late and played it when the boys went to bed, it is one of my new favorite games because I kept winning. We decided to teach the boys how to play and I think Austin really enjoyed it, He kept saying "I am really good at this game."

Baby Shower
Saturday my friends Jen and Kristen had a baby shower for Adyson and me. It was supposed to be the Saturday before, but since Adyson decided to come early they pushed it back a week. She just wanted to be at her own party!!!
Adyson all ready to go, everyone gave me a hard time because she was dressed in blue!
Instead of playing games we did crafts which was a lot more fun. They modged podged scrapbook paper on letters of her name and some picture frames. SO CUTE!!! I will post a picture of them once I hang them up. (Just a few of the ladies working hard, I wish I would have taken a group picture of everyone that was there.)

Adyson Belle Weber
Wow... I still can't believe she is actually here!!! I was starting to feel like I was going to be pregnant forever.
The Story...
It all happened really fast, my water broke at 5:20 am Thursday morning while I was sleeping. I woke Nick up and said you need to call someone now to come watch the boys, we need to go to the hospital. He called our friend Amber who was here in less than 20 minutes. My contractions held off until we got in the car for the 15 minute ride to the hospital. They started about 5 or 6 minutes apart. We got to the hospital and the nurse checked to make sure that my water had actually broken. Then, I got hooked up to an IV and all that fun stuff and my contractions were about a minute apart. They weren't lasting very long, but I didn't have much of break between them. The nurse checked me and I was 4 cm dilated and 80%. My contractions were starting to get worse, still a minute apart, so I got an epidural (sweet relief). The nurse checked me after my epidural was put in I was 6 cm and 90%, so I went from a 4 to 6 in about 45 minutes. My contractions still a minute apart, I started to feel pressure with each one. She checked me again, 8 cm and 100%, she called Doctor Card and by the time she got there I was ready to push. I only had to push for less than 10 minutes and she was born at 10:12 am. So from start to finish about 5 hours, I thought that was not to bad, considering I was induced with the last two (I have to say this was a lot nicer).
I was very excited I went into labor all by myself!!! We are so glad to finally have little girl in the house!!
