Austin's new room

Austin got a new bedroom for Christmas this year. We decided to move him in his own room and then when the baby comes Brodie will eventually share with him. It was a lot of fun doing Austin's room and he really loves it. He wanted a "McQueen" room, so that is what he got. It turned out really good. My next project is to do Brodie's room in trains.

Christmas

We had a good Christmas even though we were all sick. We all had sore throats and runny noses. We are all better except for Nick, but I think he is finally getting there. It seemed like it took forever for us to get better.

We all got lots of present as usual and it took us forever to open them all because the boys wanted to play with everything once they opened it. When we finished, we had breakfast and then all took a nap. After that we made dinner and our friends the Weavers came over for a very yummy Christmas dinner. It was a great day.

Making Christmas Cookies

My parents came up to the freezing cold for Christmas. On Christmas Eve we made sugar cookies. The boys had a lot of fun. They wanted to help do everything and got flour everywhere. Brodie even tried to eat the flour, but soon discovered that it did not taste so great. Grandpa showed Austin that he could eat the cookie dough and that was all he wanted to do. We had a great time.
