4th of July Weekend

We had a great 4th of July weekend. We spent Saturday with Angie and her family. We started the day with a parade and water fight. The parade was a little long, but the water fight was worth the wait. We spent the rest of the day eating, relaxing, and having fun. Later that night we went to a golf course to get ready for fireworks. Nate and Cindi along with their families joined us for the fireworks. The kids sure love having lots of cousins to play with all the time. The fireworks were great and all the kids loved them even Adyson.
Sunday night we went over to my friend Jen's house for a little Arkansas party. It was so much fun having so many Arkansans under one roof. We ate great food, played a very crazy game of KNIVES (don't worry they were plastic) because all the spoons were dirty, did fireworks, and laughed a ton. We had fun story telling and remembering the good old days. We had a great time and I really enjoyed seeing so many old friends.

Kayaking

Kayaking is so much FUN!! Nick's sister Angie and her family have a couple of kayaks and they invited us to go with them to Farmington Pond. The kids had a great time, they keep asking "when can we go again"! Adyson even got a turn to try it out. We love hanging out with Angie, Marcus, Ellie, and Finley.

Cousins are Great!

The best thing about being back in Utah is that the kids get to play with their cousins and get to know them better and there are a lot to choose from (Adyson is #20 and they are all 9 and under). While I was in Vernal we got to spend a little time with Nick's brother Wes and his family. He was remodeling a bathroom in a cabin in the mountains and we went up several times to hang out with them. The kids had fun eating tons of candy, playing outside, and dancing to the singing fish. We sure love being close to family!!

Our Favorite Cookie

Grandma and Grandpa Weber have several horses, but the favorite one of all the grand kids is Cookie. Grandpa let the kids take a ride on her when Amy and Kayla came out for their week visit(when the kids get old enough they get to come stay on the farm a couple at a time). Austin and Brodie loved it. Corbin was a little scared and Adyson was a natural like all the rest of the girl cousins. Cookie is a great horse and we all love her.

Brodie's Birthday Celebrations!

We celebrated Brodie's birthday a couple of times this year, since I was staying in Vernal with Nick's parents while he was looking for work. The weekend before his birthday Nick came for a visit so we let him open his presents and we had cupcakes. Angie and her family were out visiting, Wes and his family came over to celebrate too. We even had both sets of grandparents there, well kinda, my parents were on the computer via Skype. On his birthday the kids and I went to the park and then had pizza for lunch. For his birthday dinner he wanted peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with strawberries and chips. We finished the day by enjoying some yummy ice cream.
We decided to have a little family party for Brodie and his cousin Russell. We had a great night enjoying hamburgers, hot dogs, homemade ice cream and cupcakes. It is so fun being close to family to celebrate!
