It's been a long time
I have not posted in a really long time. We have not really done anything that great to post about I guess. We are just trying to survive this freezing cold winter. We try to stay in as much as possible. Austin goes to preschool and we go to play group on Wednesdays, but other than that we stay home read books, play the Wii, play lots of games, and do puzzles. Until I have something more exciting to post... I hope everyone is well and healthy.

Trip to Vegas
My Christmas present this year was a trip to Vegas to visit my friend Brandi. I know I have the best husband ever. I had a great time. We went to see Mama Mia, ate at lots of yummy places, did lots of shopping and went to Madame Tussaud's Wax museum. It was a nice break and fun to see Brandi and her family.

Brandi, Ali, Ryen, and I eating at In and Out Burger. It was my first time, and it was so yummy.
We spent a fun day on the strip. We walked all the way from the MGM to the Venetian and back again. We stopped at lots of fun places on our walk the M&M store, the wax museum, Forum shoppes at Ceaser Palace where we ate at the Cheesecake Factory, and the Bellagio fountains just to name few. My feet were killing me by the end of the day, but it was a very fun day.

The Holidays
Our Holidays were really great. Grandma and Grandpa Schwerin came to visit for a week during Christmas. We did a lot of fun things while they were here; we made sugar cookies, got new pajamas, opened gifts, played raquetball and went sledding. The boys really loved having them here and they loved the gifts from Santa.
We also had a fun New Years Eve Party, there were several families that came and enjoyed the evening with us. It was the first time we have really done anything for New Years, Nick usually had to work. All in all we have really enjoyed the Holidays this year.
