San Francisco!

As you can see I took a trip to San Francisco, CA. It was a trip that I was required to take for my architecture studio class. We are working on a highrise project that is to be located in the city... so we went there to do some site evaluation and research for our designs.

My partner and I have chosen to design our building for the site that is now housing that really ugly square in this photograph. We are still in the very early stages of design so we really do not have much at this point but we do know where we want it.

Here are just a few fun things that I saw during my visit.

This one is for Ashlee's Grandma Betty.

Wow! What a fun project and trip. I loved your pictures. You have a nack with the camera. It must run in your family.

Did you know that I used to live in San Francisco? When my dad was in the army he was stationed in the Presidio and I used to stand in the middle of our street and look down the street and out into the bay at Alcatraz.

This is Cheya, in case you don't know me as booklogged.

Makes me homesick for Northern CA. I was born in San Francisco and it is definitely one of my favorite places to visit. Glad you got to go!

I'm glad you had a good time and got home safely. Did you get some "real" fresh seafood? I love San Fransisco--such a beautiful place. I need to go there again.

We went to San Francisco two months after Gavin was born! It was so much fun and I'd love to go again! The sights, the ocean, Muir Woods . . .

That's such a cool picture of you in front of the GG Bridge. And, I'm sure we walked right by that square building. Good luck with your project!
